What We Stand For
Mission Statement
The Daniels Foundation for Impact Investments and Development is located in the beautiful city of Spring Hill, Florida. The Foundation is a multidisciplinary asset that has core competency in **educational training**, **media production**, **e-commerce** and **investments**.
In the area of educational training the Foundation has run successful after school programs in **remedial reading** and **secondary school math**. It also produces innovative content in secondary school math and science along with innovative content in financial literacy.
In the area of media production the Foundation has produced a documentary on the East Orange New Jersey Education System focusing on the reading performance of the school system. The documentary will be released in July 2025. The documentary is entitled Not Invisible: Transforming Urban Education by Uniting Society.
The Foundation has also produced a short film on male sexual assault through the medium of spoken word. The short film will be released in July 2025. The short film is entitled No Tears: The Life Story of Dr. Kenneth Daniels in Spoken Word. The spoken word film is based on the book No Tears. No Tears is my life’s story about the good in people to fight the “good fight” for a better life experience and a better society at large.
Everyone can do a better job to help our fellow man, but it takes a conviction not to fall prey to the demons of society and the demons of our soul such as racism, bigotry, and personal hatred. We must continue to tell stories of courage, personal growth, and sacrifice to fuel the desire of individuals and society as a whole. Encouraged by these efforts, we should take on more “good fights” and advocate for the betterment of our society and a more prosperous future for our children.
**No Tears:** The autobiography and collaborative network of the Daniels Foundation for Impact Investments and Development promotes a legacy for a better society by fighting the “good fight” toward **economic empowerment** and **educational change management**. Hopefully, as you read my story, you will learn from my experiences, be cognizant of the forces of good and evil in our society, and address them institutionally and individually for the betterment of mankind. A portion of the proceeds from book sales will be donated to the Daniels Foundation for Impact Investments and Development.
Our Story
Born from a passion for education and community development, the Foundation began with the goal of ensuring that every student has the opportunity to achieve their highest potential.
We go beyond traditional academics by integrating programs that prepare individuals for real-world success, including:

- Math Through Music
- Entrepreneurship
- Micro-Lending
Vision
The Foundation is a vision of Henry Daniels, a former campus administrator in the East Orange School System. The Foundation recognizes that the core competencies of reading, writing, and math form the basis for sustained excellence in any field of study. This was the philosophy founded by Henry Daniels many decades ago.
In this spirit, the Foundation will strengthen the core competencies of students and enhance their educational experience with Financial Literacy, Math, Music, Entrepreneurship, E-Commerce and Investments.
The Foundation will seek to create a self-sustaining entity that relies on its own revenue for sustenance, but will pursue major grants and donations for the empowerment of human capital. Physical capital will be acquired and improved as a means to ensure a safe and productive environment of the citizenry, but it will not dominate the activities of the Foundation.
In this spirit, the Foundation will foster an ecosystem of cooperation and money flow that remains in the community for the greater good of the citizenry.

About Founder
Dr. Kenneth Nolan Daniels is a distinguished finance scholar, public servant, and the visionary leader behind the Daniels Foundation for Impact Investments and Development. Academically, he serves as a Professor of Finance at Virginia Commonwealth University, where his research contributions have been widely recognized. He has published over 20 refereed articles in prominent journals such as The Journal of Money, Credit and Banking and The Journal of Corporate Finance. His expertise, particularly on municipal bonds and financial advisors, has garnered significant attention, even being cited in the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
His scholarly excellence is further underscored by awards, including the Sydney Futures Exchange Prize for outstanding papers on derivatives and investments from the Eastern Finance Association.
